After tons of work, studio time, and tweaking, Magoula is finally ready to drop his debut release entitled Splice Age. You heard the preview, you’ve heard a few of the tracks, and now, we are finally ready to drop on December 6th. Splice Age will be available on iTunes and all digital media outlets. Be on the look for physical copies around the hood in Downtown Miami.

DOWN Miami celebrates our head ninja in charge’s birthday on Sunday, October 9th, with none other than Magoula, Dave Betamax, and all of the Down Residents. You know how we do each year. Pizza, cake, and low end bass. No cover and no lines. We will be filming the music video for Only You (the first single off of Splice Age) and we will be sending Luis back to LA as he preps to graduate film school, all going down next Sunday at EVE Nightclub.

Dave Betamax is back with a preview of a track from his forthcoming release, Floating Rocks, scheduled to drop at the end of the year. This track is a score from an unwritten movie based on Japanese folklore. The song begins with a dark, ominous atmosphere sprinkled with the haunting piano of one of our mysterious newcomers, Dionysiac. The track throws you deep in the jungle with deep vibrations, hard hitting tribal drums, and seductive vocals.
